NOTE: Over the past two years, we have had an overwhelming number of applicants. In 2005, out of over 100 applications, approximately 25 applicants were admitted. Please be advised that we will not be able to accept everyone and that all applicants are encourage to submit their documents into the proper personnel on time, and in an orderly fashion.

Applications for the 2006 Eagle Fire Department Volunteer Firefighters Association are available on line or at Station 1 and can only be turned in between January 1st and August 31st 5pm of 2006.
There will be no deadline exceptions!

Questions & Answers
Q: What criteria must be met prior to being accepted as a Volunteer?
A: Volunteers must first go through an interview process in order to determine experience, maturity, and above all compatibility.
1. Those selected will be asked to volunteer a minimum of 10 nights at our annual Haunted Woods fundraiser first.
2. Those who successfully complete their required nights will then be asked to complete the Fire Fighter Combat Challenge. (For details regarding the Combat Challenge, follow the link, and read "THE COMPETITION")
3. Those who successfully complete the challenge will be trained through our Fire Fighter 1 (FF1) course.
4. After successfully completing of the FF1 Course, you will be required to take and pass the the State of Idaho practical and written exams.
